We are on a mission: Keeping furniture in circulation for the well-being of all members of our community.
At Furniture Repair Bank, we are building a community of mighty, courageous, and empathetic individuals to rescue furniture destined for landfills and provide support to refugees and low-income families and individuals.
We work at the intersection of sustainability, community, and equity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment that thrives on reducing waste, empowering individuals, and uplifting communities.
We envision a future where furniture waste is eliminated, repair skills are fostered for generations, and vulnerable households have access to quality furniture.

Our equity partners
We serve families and individuals who are clients of resettlement agencies that help refugees find new homes, shelters that serve people emerging from homeless situations, agencies that support young adults who have aged out of foster care and women building new lives after experiencing domestic violence, and more.
Our sustainability partners
We collect damaged and worn furniture items from the public and partners. These partners include junk haulers, organization businesses, solid waste processors, and public works departments of municipalities.
Our community partners
Our repair and redesign efforts are greatly supported by a variety of partners who provide us tools, supplies, and advice, and also bring their members to the warehouse for team building volunteer events.
