How to Donate Furniture

  • STEP 1. Confirm your item

Due to space constraints and the needs of the individuals we serve, we cannot always accept every type of furniture. Please see the list below of the items we do and do not accept before submitting your donation form.

  • STEP 2. Submit a Photo

After checking the list of acceptable items on this page, send us photos of the items you wish to donate through the form linked below so we may ensure they meet our criteria and current capacity. Please allow a minimum of three days for a response, as our staff is very limited.

  • STEP 3. Schedule your Dropoff

Once your donation has been confirmed as accepted by our team, the items may be dropped off at our workshop during open hours. Our schedule varies so please confirm your drop-off day and time with our team.

Need a Pick-Up Service?

We can connect you with an outside vendor to arrange a pick-up service for a fee based on your location and donation. Once your donation inquiry has been confirmed as accepted by our team, you may schedule a priority pick-up with ReSupply through the button below.

What We Accept

While we strive to rescue as much unwanted furniture as possible, our limited space and capacity require us to prioritize the items most needed by the families and individuals we serve. If we're unable to accept your donation, we encourage you to list it for free online, where someone else may find it and give it a new life.

  • No, we do not work with appliances. Habitat for Humanity is a great resource to donate appliances.

  • We do not currently have capacity to pick up furniture donations. If you need to schedule a pick up of an approved item, that may be scheduled through our partner ReSupply. Fees vary based upon size and location.

  • We are connected to the beneficiaries of our services through multiple agencies and institutions. These benevolent organizations provide support to our most vulnerable community members; refugees, people emerging from homeless situations, youth graduating from foster care, domestic violence survivors and others in need of timely help.

Support us in creating impact

By giving to the Furniture Repair Bank, you enable and improve our efforts. We could not achieve our goals and help as many people as we do without the generous support of our donors. We gladly accept furniture donations, tools and materials, in-kind donations, and monetary gifts.
